If you were disturbed by Snakes on a Plane, we’re sorry to inform you that slithering reptiles are in need of no aeronautics device to fly through the air. A team of scientists is currently studying a species of snake that glides from tree to tree in the rainforest in the hopes of applying the physics of the feat to airborne robotics (Robosnake?).
